Cat and Dog have a room to rent in Abingdon

We are looking for a pet friendly lodger who is able to put up with the fact that we have one dog and cat who are very much considered to be family members - Please note that we don't want any more pets in the house.

The dog is a rescue and was attacked as a youngster, making him nervous at first with new people. He is friendly and sweet natured, but initially he may bark at you and be unsure about your presence. If unable to work with this, please don't ask about the room.

We are in a good location for easy car access to....

Oxford City centre - 9. 5 miles
Didcot - 7. 5 miles
Milton Park - 4. 5 miles
Culham Science Centre - 5. 3 miles
Harwell Science and Innovation Campus - 6. 8 miles
RAF Benson - 11. 8 miles

Our house is situated 3 minutes walk from local shops or 15 minute walk to Abingdon town centre where there is more choice for shopping. Also just a 10 minute walk from regular bus services to Oxford City, Didcot & Wantage.

The room is 9' 6" x 8' 9" and is furnished with a queen sized bed, wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

There is a separate bathroom and also a separate toilet. These would be shared with the other lodgers.

We have Wireless Broadband capability. The kitchen, freezer, fridge, washing machine and tumble drier would be shared. We would accept smokers who only light up outside and clear up after themselves.

My name is Grant and I live with wife Gill and we are both good and honest people to get on with. As stated above, we have a dog and cat, so you will need to be able to get on with having pets around. The dog is a very lively and friendly English Springer Spaniel. Again I remind you that he is reactive to new people, so you will need to be prepared to work with us to gain his trust. He is fine, once he knows you!

We would prefer clean and fairly tidy people who are happy to accept our not unreasonable house rules and a basic tenancy agreement.
