I have a double room to rent in my very clean and quiet house.
The double room is a good size and there is an extra storage space outside the room (airing cupboard) for you. There is space in the garage to keep a bicycle, if you have one.
You will be living with one other very considerate lodger (who has been here for 4 years) and me, the house owner.
We are looking for someone who would fit into our very respectful and quiet mode of living, so for instance
-- We do not accept guests or visitors, except very occasionally by prior arrangement
--The house must be silent after 10pm so we can sleep
--Use of the kitchen for cooking should be reasonable e. g. up to an hour in the evening, not the whole evening
These restrictions would suit some people, but not others - so if you wanted to have visitors/guests, make noise after 10pm or use the kitchen for long periods, the room would not be suitable for you.
The rent includes all utility bills and council tax.
There's some flexibility around the start date, but I would need to check references and Right to Rent checks first.
