Large, airy, double room with ensuite

My name is Simon and I live at the marina in Abingdon. I have a 13 year old son who lives with me for half of the week (Sunday lunch till Wednesday evening). We are friendly, tidy relaxed and very welcoming people.

I work at a local school as a golf coach and photographer.

We are looking to find a quiet person to rent the largest bedroom at the property. It is a rear facing room with an ensuite (shower, toilet, sink). The road we live on is a dead end so not much traffic and generally a very quiet place to live..

There is a private parking space for you and a secure entry porch takes you up an internal communal staircase to the flat on the first floor. Unfortunately , there is no disabled access to the property.

The room has a large built in wardrobe which can store a vast amount of clothing etc leaving the room uncluttered..

There is a good sized, fully fitted kitchen with a table and storage. We will all keep the communal areas clean and tidy.

As the bedroom is more of a bedsit size it will double up as your living room. There is not an additional shared living space here.

We hope to find someone quiet, friendly and self contained working in a professional capacity. I am not looking for someone who works from home-(sorry).

As I have a youngster in the house I will not be allowing friends or partners of the lodger to stay late, or overnight, at the property. I am single and also do not bring people here late or to stay the night.

There are lovely communal gardens for you to take a picnic and a deckchair out on to. It is a 1 minute walk to the river and there is a large sports field 50 yards away. We are on cycle route 5 (I think). Culham is 3 miles away and Milton park is about the same distance. Both easily accessible by bike and there are bus routes to didcot, Oxford and Witney very near by.

Abingdon town center is a 10 minute walk along the river.
