Description

Hello all,
My flatmate is moving out, which means a spare bedroom will be free in the apartment from the 16th of December onwards. I’m open to everyone; professionals, no students, with a longer term in mind.

Location: Abingdon. 2 mins from Albert Park, 15 from the town centre, 20 from Tesco extra and waitrose plus lidl and coop. 3 mins from X2 bus stop to Didcot or Oxford, 10 mins for other busses. Loads of local restaurants and pubs as well.

The flat: top floor of a 5 flat building. Two steep flights of stairs to get there. Private parking at the back and shed with lock for bikes, tools, etc…
Quiet neighbours.

Inside the flat: Every room is very spacious, especially the living room and bedroom. There’s a spare room as well that is currently used for drying clothes however it could be used for anything we like i. e storage, gym, drying clothes, office, guest bedroom…
There’s a bathroom each and yours would be the larger one with the shower and bathtub.

Your bedroom: large double with built-in wardrobe and double bed. Window facing west for those beautiful sunsets (See apartment plan for exact sizes). There will also be pieces of furniture like clothes drawers and bedside tables etc. for you.

Me: I work nearby as a teaching assistant for a nearby SEN school. People would describe me as very friendly and calm and I’m more on the introverted side. I like my own space and having free time alone although I am happy to chat and hang out here and there. I’m the type of person who values creativity and love learning about peoples’ passions and interests.

The flat has always been a calm space and It would be good to keep it like that. Friends and Family are more than welcome over, just no crazy parties :). I have a variety of interests: I like Psychology, Design, Science, Art, I go to some evening design/drawing courses, and also like video games. The bedroom doors and the door between the living area and the bedrooms are all heavy and keep the noise away so no issues there, but as I said no crazy nights, please.

The Rent: The new contract asks for a rent of £750 a month.
The Council tax is currently at £126 a month (your half of the total £252)
Energy: Approx £40 (£80 in total)
Water: £29 (£58 in total)
Internet: £12 (£24 in total

The agency will have to do all the checks including references and the fees, back then were at £50.
The deposit is about a month’s rent.
The agency is Scott Fraser in Oxford, Cowley branch.

Both agency and landlord are usually very attentive and quick if any problems arise with the flat.

Please tell me something about yourself aswell.

I believe I covered pretty much everything. Just send me a message if you have any questions.
