A recently redecorated small double room is available to rent, in a 2 bed terrace situated in a quiet corner of Abingdon. The room is available to females on a Mon-Fri basis.
The property has easy access to the A34 and local bus routes (especially to Oxford City). It is also 10 minutes walk from the town centre and on local cycle routes, which take you to Oxford and the surrounding villages. There is a large leisure centre at the end of the road, a short distance behind this is the Thames, with lovely walks. It is also very close to local science and business parks and Radley train station.
The house itself has both a front and back garden and allocated off-street parking. Downstairs there is an open plan living-dining room which leads on to the kitchen. Off the kitchen there is a conservatory which is used as my home office. The stairs are off the hallway and lead to an upstairs landing. On the first floor there is a shared bathroom, with electric shower over the bath and the two bedrooms.
The room itself is a small double room. It is fully furnished with a wardrobe, small double bed, drawers or a desk and chair. Towels and bedding can be supplied upon discussion with the landlord.
Virgin Media broadband is installed at the property (and included in the rent).
I like to keep to house clean and tidy, within the realms of what is realistic with a dog.
I have a 5 year old dog who is very friendly. We are therefore looking for a Mon-Fri lodger who loves dogs, is willing to help us ensure he stays semi-trained by following a few guidelines. My partner lives here part-time, but this is mostly at the weekends due to his job.
