I have a large en-suite attic room, on its own floor, to rent in a Victorian terraced family home for a female lodger. Situated 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre in a desirable, friendly street just near the People's Park.
The room is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and shelving unit. The en-suite has a shower, WC, sink and mirror. It is comfortable and warm – perfect if you want to tuck yourself away.
There are 2 sitting rooms downstairs, both with TVs so you are very welcome to join us for some company, or if you fancy some privacy there is the other front room.
We are very sociable and used to having lodgers in this house.
The kitchen is spacious and there are mains wired fire alarms throughout the house.
The garden has flowerbeds, an old apple tree, two pear trees and lots of twinkly lights. There’s also a rhubarb and herb bed.
I have 2 children who both sleep on the first floor with me - below your floor. They are good sleepers.
I also have a 4 year old spaniel who loves cuddles and is very chilled.
