*That’s heating, electricity, broadband, council tax, TV licence and of course, Netflix! Plus free, off road parking! For an additional £20 per month our cleaner can also do a weekly clean of your bedroom.

Located just 15 minutes from central Oxford, and on a direct bus route, our cottage is surrounded by beautiful fields, and a one minute walk to a great country pub (with excellent food)!

This first floor room is a comfortable double with a new carpet and magnificent views over our garden and the adjoining countryside. We are happy to furnish it to your requirements. You’re also welcome to bring your own furniture if preferred.

Communal areas: housemates are welcome to make use of all the communal areas, large bathroom with bath and separate shower. As my husband and I have an en-suites this bathroom is for the exclusive use of house mates and the occasional visitor. We have a beautiful heritage kitchen (with plenty of storage), utility room, our traditional lounge (with underfloor heating) and the music room when it’s not being used for teaching (we can even throw in a few piano lessons if you’re game!) There are extensive gardens, and so if this is your thing, you’re welcome to have your own veg patch! Or relax on the garden furniture and enjoy the sunset with a glass of something tasty!

The communal areas are cleaned weekly by professional cleaners, the outer windows are cleaned professionally once a month and we also have a gardener who maintains the grounds.

A bit about us: we’re both teachers and professional musicians. We like to take walks in nature, garden, watch good films and can often be heard singing round the house (we especially like musicals!). We also love board games. Carcassonne is a particular favourite!

A deposit of £900 is required to secure the room, refunded upon the completion of your time with us, assuming that there are no damages!
