Description
Unfurnished double room (2.7M X 3.3M) available to rent for a person or couple in a beautifully kept house in Bicester. Allocated parking space is also available if required. Secure bicycle storage available in garden shed. The bus stop is only 10m from my front door and provides access to nearby train station and town centre.
For a couple, an extra £100 per month will be added, to cover the additional bills.
Bills are included exclusive of the additional council tax, as a result of losing my single occupancy discount. Council tax band D (approx. £50 per month).
Household is LGBT and neurodivergent friendly.
I own a rescue cat who is very anxious. Any potential lodger(s) will have to be a cat lover and be patient and calm around her whilst she gets to know you.
Room currently has some furniture (it's my sewing and crafts room) but this will be removed for the incoming tenant(s).
I work from home almost exclusively. I am quite the introvert so would appreciate someone relatively quiet and comfortable in their own company (not one for loud parties every night!), but the living room and kitchen will be equally shared spaces. I am very crafty and also enjoy reading and playing PC games.
My partner lives elsewhere so there will be days when he is here, or I am staying with him.
I do like to keep an organised home, and have put a lot of effort into making it a tidy and calm sanctuary. So I would really appreciate a like-minded individual who is going to take pride in their accommodation.
If you are interested, it would be good to have a video meeting first to see if we both think we could get along, before meeting you in person. I will be expecting that we draw up an agreement in writing, so that everyone is clear on the expectations on both sides and have a written reference of that.
