Double Room Summary:
We have a spacious double room available from the 8th of August - ideal for Professional, UK or overseas Phd/Masters students, undergrads and visiting academics. We require a minimum 6 months with a longer term preferred.

The double bedroom is furnished with a double bed with matress, a double sliding door wardrobe, built-in storage in one of the alcoves and an additional chest of drawers with under-bed storage to boot. There is also space for a working desk (not included). Door is lockable with ones' own set of keys.

(Available from August onwards - £650pcm with a deposit of £600).

The House:
The house is mine and my boyfriends; who works away 5days a week and comes back on occasional weekends.
We currently have one other housemate (a professional) who is friendly and easy to get on with.
We are a laid back, friendly, and sociable household looking for a down-to-earth, friendly, easy-going housemate to share our home.

The living room currently has two comfortable sofas and a large TV for those all-important wine and beer nights. There is access to Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime for all your binging needs.

The kitchen is very well equipped with cooking equipment, utensils, dishwasher and an American fridge/freezer.  A washing machine is also available to use.

We have one combined shower-room & toilet, a good sized kitchen, a large garden and extra outdoor storage area (garage).

There is a driveway that is used by myself but there is plenty of on-street parking available, no permits necessary.

All bills are included: gas, electric, water, super fast virgin fibre-optic broadband and council tax.

Location/Area Info:
The house location is ideal for anyone based in the city centre, requiring access to the A34, or nearby universities such as Oxford Brookes at Harcourt Hill. It is a ten-minute cycle to the centre of Oxford, a two-minute walk to the bus stop (served by seven city buses; 4A, 4B, 4C, NS1, S1, S9 and no.63 buses run regularly), and if you prefer the healthier option then it takes roughly 25 minutes to walk to the train station/city centre. For the immediate local area, the closest shops are located at Elms Parade/New Westway Square development (Tesco, Coop, Iceland, local butchers, deli etc) taking only a five-minute walk. There is also plenty of retail offerings on Botley Road all within walking distance. There is a local brewery, the Tap Social nearby that offers a range of craft beers and various events.
