Join our 5-person group house!

Hey! We (Cian, Fazl, Alex, and Aaron) are looking for a new housemate for our 5-person group house on Botley Road, starting from the 17th of August! If you’re interested, we’d love to hear from you.

We're advertising the single room shown in the pictures, which comes with a bed, desk, and wardrobe.

Our Vision for the House:
We want to make the house a beautiful place that we all love to live in and that feels like home. Concretely, we would be keen to hold weekly house dinners and to host regular events in the house. We want to be intentional about spending time together and foster a culture of caring about each other.

Ideally, you would be:
- Interested in living in a social house and contributing to its culture
- Able to take the room from the 17th of August long-term. There might even be rooms free from now if you need something sooner!
- Unfortunately we can't accept couples, because our lease only permits 5 tenants.

About us:
- We are a group of postgrads/young professionals/researchers (25-35 y/o): Aaron is doing a PhD at the intersection of AI and biology, Cian works on the Courses team at the Centre for Effective Altruism and Fazl is a postdoc at the Oxford Martin School, working on AI safety
- We have a range of interests including meditation, spikeball, gaelic football, running, art, and cooking

- It has a backyard, with some furniture
- 1 shower, 2 bathrooms
- Dishwasher, washer/dryer
- Fully furnished
- We’ll have a cleaner who cleans common areas twice/month
- Council tax band F
- The rent is £3400pcm without utilities. We're curently advertising the smallest room, but haven't decided on the final allocation. Bills are about 200£ pp pcm
- The room is at the back of the house and away from the street, so noise is fairly limited!
