Hello!
I am sadly moving out of this lovely home due to study commitments in London, and looking for someone great to take over my room in a modern, bright flat right in the heart of Botley. It has honestly been the best place I have lived in the UK — clean, chill, and with friendly flatmates.
The room is furnished with a double bed frame, a desk, two cupboards and a small set of drawers. Note that the room does not have a mattress but I will leave mine for a very fair price of £50. The house has plenty of storage space including an attic.
The rent is £600 with £90.40 for the utility bills if you are a full-time student (rent: £690.40 in total) but £149.4 if you are a working professional due to council tax (rent: £749.40 in total). This is a really good price considering how spacious and modern this house is and well below the montly average rent price in Oxford.
You will be sharing with two lovely people — one PhD student (male) and one working professional (female), both in their mid-twenties. Both are friendly, respectful, and keep the flat clean and tidy. They are sociable — happy to share a chat over a pint but also value quiet evenings.
The area is a peaceful, green and residential area, ideal for someone wanting calm but with easy access to central Oxford. The house is only a 10-15 mins bike ride away from the Oxford Railway station and we have a bus stop right opposite our house, and another one 2 mins walk away from the house, with E1 buses to the station departing every 15 mins.
Tesco’s, Co-op, Morrison’s and Iceland are 4 mins bike ride away from the house, with Decathlon, B&Q and SportsDirect 5 mins, big Aldi and Home Bargains 6 mins, and big Waitrose 8 mins away by bike.
Our landlord is very responsive, taking good care of the house and have always resolved issues within days of us communicating it to him.
The house will be available from 13th of September. We are looking to hold viewings from 4th of September onwards. If you are interested, please drop me a message telling me a little bit about yourself and your current situation (age, student/professional, move-in timeline, interests etc.).
