1 Double in 3 Bed Houseshare

Hi! We're looking for a friendly professional to join our 3 bed house share. Housemates are friendly professionals Emily and Alex, both early 30s.


The available room is on the first floor and shares a shower room and downstairs bathroom with one other room so you'll never be held up queuing. There's a smart TV in the bedroom and plenty of storage.

Communal space includes a large open plan kitchen/diner/living room, with desk space for two people at the front window, big TV and a cosy woodburner for the winter months (lots of firewood in our woodshed).

Kitchen includes dishwasher, tumble dryer, two large fridge freezers, two ovens, two gas hobs, microwave, kettle and toaster.

Triple glazing and modern energy saving ventilation system. Interlinked mains powered smoke detection system with carbon monoxide detectors.

Outside there is a new glass covered canopy over the large patio and lots of seating. You are free to use the garden as you wish, and previous housemates have planted flowers, vegetables and enjoyed hosting BBQs. There is also a covered secure bike lock area and firepit. Garden and driveway is shared with our fourth housemate, science researcher Pawel, who lives in the private self contained annexe at the rear of the garden.

Parking - space for two cars on the driveway and there's always space on the street with no permit required.

Bills include all utilities, council tax, fortnightly professional cleaning (bathrooms and communal areas) and high speed fibre optic broadband.

Locally there are supermarkets 2 minutes walk away and Oxford train station is 5 minutes by bike. It's about 25 minutes walk into town, there are regular buses or an off road bike route. Botley is a quiet, safe area 2 miles west of Oxford city centre. Access to the A34 is very easy. The local venue Tap Social offers a range of craft beers and regular events, such as comedy nights and pub quizzes while the gastro-pub (The Fishes) in North Hinksey village provides very nice food.

Landlords are myself (Abi) and husband Adam and, although we don't live locally anymore, Adam visits every quarter to complete various maintenance jobs.
