Double room in townhouse

I have a double room available in my home, located on the first floor at the front of the house. It’s one of four rooms, its furnished with a double bed, wardrobe with drawers inside, a small bedside drawer set, has a tv, and a DVD player you will need something to connect to the internet for the tv, bills included, broadband, there is a washing machine, you can hang out your washing on the line, i do have a hanger inside too. I prefer to do the cleaning and change the bed and wash the bedding myself. The shower room is shared with my son. I do expect you to keep it how you found it, rinse the shower down and clean up after yourself in the bathroom and the kitchen when you’ve used it. You can also sit in the garden there is a table and chairs.
This is a family home and I’m pretty OCD about it being clean, Shoes off when you’re in, so bring your flip flops/sliders. Parking spaces available in front of the house on the road.
It’s a pretty quiet place to live very rural, it’s a smallish estate on the other side of the old village, there’s a garden centre with a small cafe and a primary school near the entrance, a community centre in the middle, with and open space one of those outside gym equipment sets and kids apparatus, so apart from the Harwell campus there’s not much here. There are shops on the campus, a sandwich shop, a post office McColls, a small morrisons, a hairdressers, that sort of thing, pop up outside dinning, a burger place and a few others, I’m told pretty good and sometimes live music, although I’ve not been to it.
We are a short distance to the Harwell campus, it’s literally over the fence behind the house. It’s around a 20 minute walk, unfortunately no shortcut though. A car is ideal to live here, although there are regular buses to take you into the towns near by Wantage one way and Didcot the other and Newbury another and the train station in Didcot, is around 8 miles away..
You’d be living with myself, my son of 24 and maybe another lodger at some point.
I have a 4 year old black cat called Dave who isn’t allowed in the bedrooms (git), but will be around at times and is out at night, he has an insulated box. Really friendly. Available from 1/09
