The room includes a wall mounted smart TV, fast broadband, very large wardrobe with plenty of storage space, chest of drawers, small desk with optional mirror & chair, double bed, bedside table & lamp. Ensuite bathroom with new shower. Shared use of kitchen, washing machine, drying facilities, dining area and garden. Kitchen cupboard & fridge/freezer space available. Shared use of kitchen equipment & crockery. Working from home will be possible for some days (by negotiation). Parking can be on drive with my car or on road outside.

Train station 7 minutes walk away. Direct rail line to London Paddington (less than 1 hr), Reading (20 mins), Oxford (40 mins), Didcot (9 mins). Regular bus services to Reading, Wallingford & Oxford (bus stop 3 mins walk).

Cholsey village has a Tesco Express (small supermarket but well stocked), pharmacy, hairdressers, butchers, Chinese & Indian restaurant, 2 pubs, coffee shop, allotments, community hall with various activities including yoga, WI, films, choral, bands. There are also tennis courts, a full gym (The Barn) and play areas including a skatepark.

Beautiful country walks & cycling all around including the River Thames footpath, the Ridgeway & bridleways. I'm a walker and can help out with maps and advice. Picturesque villages nearby located on rivers accessible by train include Streatley, Pangbourne, Henley-on-Thames with Wallingford (market town) by bus.

Closest large supermarkets & other shopping 3-5 miles away (Didcot or Wallingford, by bus/train) and city shopping centres 15-20 miles in Reading, Oxford, Newbury (bus/train).

I usually work full time with regular working from home days. I am a friendly, sociable, but not a loud person and am looking for a considerate, tidy, clean, calm, similar housemate. I can be away for some weekends or weekday periods.
