I'm looking for a flatmate to move into a large double bedroom in a two bedroom flat close to Cowley centre. My flatmate is moving out and the room will be available from the 20th March. The bedroom is large with a built in double wardrobe. It comes unfurnished, but my flatmate is willing to sell her furniture to the new tenant (bed and mattress, desk and chair, small storage unit, bedside table). The room has an en suite, which has a bath and shower. There's a communal lounge/dining room and a kitchen. We have a washer/dryer in the flat.
We have a parking space (which I'm not using) and a secure bike shed, and although we don't have a garden there's a lovely large communal grassy area outside. The flat is in a great location, a five minute walk from Templars Square shopping centre and retail park, a fifteen minute walk from the Tesco superstore, and very close to several bus stops with links to the city centre (10-20 mins depending on time of day), Headington and the hospitals, and Oxford Brookes Headington campus. It's also a five minute walk to Oxford Business Park and a couple minute's drive to the ring road.
The room is available for a one year tenancy. Bills are currently £175/month, including council tax (band D). To meet the referencing requirements you need to be employed with a salary over £20,250 (the letting agent is Finders Keepers, you can find more details on their website). I'm a quiet, tidy person and I'd like to find someone similar. Message me with a bit about yourself and we can arrange a viewing!
