Fun, friendly, generous household in the heart of Oxford’s friendliest neighbourhood, Florence Park. Looking for a new housemate to join us. The most important thing for us is a good personal fit. We want to share our home with you. It’s a home of good food, sociability, frequent company and a sense of support and community.

There are two study areas, so this would be perfect for an individual who works from home all or much of the time. We also have a piano (in a room at the end of the garden), so suitable for those who play (or aspire to). Newly refurbished areas of the house give it a fresh feel.

You should be independent but friendly and want to share time with other household members. This is a sociable house so we’re not looking for someone who wants to hide themselves away all the time, but someone who likes to share cooking and meals. Having said that, we appreciate a person’s need for time alone! We want someone who’s looking for more than just a room in a house share. We want it to feel like your home.

There’s always a good meal on the table and you and your friends are welcome to join either in the kitchen or Al fresco. The garden is stocked with fruit and veg, beautiful flowers and plenty of spaces for sitting, eating and relaxing. (gardeners welcome to lend a hand!)

House includes a well-equipped kitchen (proper espresso machine), Lounge with big comfy sofa and TV (infrequently on), two offices, and the room in the garden for the piano.

The bedroom is a light double with bed, wardrobe, bedside table and chest of drawers.

We have a weekly cleaner and a weekly household shop at Aldi if you want to join in.
