Furnished double in friendly shared house

The room is a fairly spacious furnished double on the ground floor. It comes with a bed, desk and chair, wardrobe, small chest of drawers, and bedside table (with drawers).

Please note, there is an option to move to a smaller room in the house instead, at a slightly reduced rate (435pcm), and the current tenant move into the larger ground floor room. Feel free to message me if you want to know more about this.

- - The property - -
We are located on a quiet cul-de-sac just off the Cowley Road (the best bit of Oxford!) Access is ideal for the City Centre, Cowley, and Headington.

The rest of the house is furnished and the kitchen and living room are fully equipped. Outside we have a large and pleasant garden, and out the front is off-road parking should you need it (including a charger for an electric vehicle) We also have bike storage if needed.

We have a kind and friendly private landlord. No letting agents are involved, there are no fees. Bills typically amount to £80-£100 per person per month, including council tax, utlities (water is separate, quarterly) and decent internet around the house.

- - The household - -
We are quite a diverse group and are looking for someone who is friendly, conscientious and easy-going. We are practised housesharers, and are fairly on top of keeping things clean and tidy and communicating with one another; we would need a new housemate to be ok with committing half an hour or so to cleaning when it's their turn on the rota. Despite this, we are actually all quite chilled out and easygoing.

We are a mix of British and international tenants, which we all love :) we like discussing languages and we sometimes play board games together over drinks on a Saturday night, which of course any new tenant would be invited to join. I (Ronni) love pubs and pub quizzes, and I'm sure we'll all be popping out for food and drinks more often as regulations start to lift. If you're more of an indoor person, hey that's cool too; we have a TV in the living room and sometimes eat and/or watch TV together in there.

We are all professionals working variously in nutrition, higher education, and office work. Please note we have specified no smoking as there is strictly no smoking in the house, but we have a garden as mentioned before, so as long as you are tidy and considerate this is open to discussion.
