Lovely 2 bed house share in East Oxford

Seeking a chilled, respectful housemate to share a lovely quiet, peaceful home in a great location.

Conveniently situated close to the Cowley Road and just a half an hour walk or 10 minute cycle or bus in to the city. The house is just off the Magdalen Rd which has an incredible vegan cafe, gym, two community pubs, theatre, Tibetan restaurant, health shop and international market. There is parking outside the house, a permit for the year costs around £70.

Furnished double room, overlooking the garden. Shed for storage of bicycle, etc. Shared living space with dining area. Kitchen with dishwasher, skylight leading to downstairs bathroom.

I will enjoy hanging out sometimes, but also do like my own space and would respect yours. I like to work out, love visiting different places and see friends and family at the weekends.
Having a home sharing with one other I think it's important for both to be able to enjoy the house alone or for entertaining so it would be great to have someone who feels the same and we can give each other space to do so occasionally.

Week days I work from home on a Thursday and Friday. I work in sales in an events venue. For the two days I work from home I would like to have the house to myself 9am - 5pm and you would have the house to yourself Monday - Wednesday day times if you wanted to work from home or have days off in the week.

Any green fingered people are very welcome! The garden is so lovely, mostly patio, there are some herbs growing in the borders and you can feel free to plant more. At the back is a gorgeous patch which is ideal for yoga in the sun, or whatever else! Table and chairs in the garden for al fresco dining.

I'm pescatarian, non-meat eaters preferred, but I don't mind if you do eat meat occasionally, the pans can be used for anything. The kitchen is fully equipped, so no need to bring anything but if you do have kitchen equipment we can add to mine or store some of it if needed.

Bed, wardrobe and shelves are in the bedroom, plus there is an airing cupboard and space under the bed for more storage.

The house is small and cosy, but means it is easy to keep neat and tidy and stays warm in the winter and cool in hot weather. There are lovely neighbours either side. I don't tend to have parties, but if you wanted to have friends over for an evening I would be happy to give you space to do so. There is such a nice community feel to the area and everyone helps each other out, so we are very respectful to one another.

I'm hoping to have viewings Monday 26th May, but can be flexible with your availability that week.
My current housemate has some flexibility with the move date, so if you are looking to move slightly later please let me know and we can see if it can work.

I would also be very happy with Monday-Friday rental too, happy to discuss the rent amount if of interest.
