Hey everyone!
Two rooms are becoming available in our lovely 4-people house off Cowley Road:
- 1 on 1st october (when lease renews), size 3x4 m (ground floor)
- 2 on 3rd september, size 2.5x3.5m (first floor)
Viewings are planned for:
Wednesday 7th August 9-10 am
Thursday 8th August 7-9 pm
Both are 610£ currently (might go up a bit). Deposit is 5 weeks rent, bills come up to 60 (utilities) + 63 council tax split equally (band E).
There's one shared bathroom (shower over bath) between 3 people, extra downstairs toilet, fully equipped kitchen, living room, spare room for storage/laundry/guests (which currently includes an electric piano you'd be welcome to play), small backyard garden/patio.
About us: we are two young professionals (25 and 32) working in human rights law and in biochemistry, we enjoy chats and occasional hangouts but also give each other plenty of space. We focus as well on maintaining the common areas clean and tidy and keeping a good vibe in the house, discussing any issues as they arise. Guests are welcome to visit and stay over (can use the spare room with airbed if useful), we just keep everyone informed.
The house is managed directly by the landlords, who are friendly and prompt in resolving any issues. The contract will run until end of February 2025, after which the landlords plan to sell the house, so this will suit those looking for this time period only.
