Hi there,

I’m moving out of my lovely room in a great shared house in Cowley and looking for someone to take over. The house has a welcoming atmosphere, a brilliant location, and a friendly group of housemates.

Viewings can be arranged in person or via virtual tour (evenings and weekends work best).

About the Room
• Bright double room, approximately 10 sqm (small-ish but very functionnal)
• Comes with a double bed, wardrobe, cupboards, and a desk (available to buy if wanted)
• Extra wardrobe storage available in the corridor
• Sorry, no couples (landlord’s insurance restriction)
Bills are around £90–100 per month (energy, council tax, high-speed internet) on top of the rent. The agency is very reactive to any problem.

About the House
• Spacious 5-bedroom house with a garden at the back
• Large, light-filled living room with sofas, armchairs, and a TV
• Fully equipped kitchen: two fridges, two freezers, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer
• Two toilets; the bathroom next to the room is shared with two other housemates
• Shared cleaning rota (about every five weeks for kitchen/bathroom)

Location
• 15-minute walk or 4-minute cycle to Cowley shops, bars, and cafés
• 2-minute walk to Cowley Marsh park and woods
• 5-minute walk to The Marsh Harrier pub
• Corner shop next door
• Quick cycle to Templars Shopping Centre (Sainsbury’s, Lidl, gym, etc.)

About the Housemates
The current housemates are young professionals. The vibe is relaxed and sociable: sometimes sharing meals, films, or time in the garden, while also respecting each other’s space and privacy.
