Bright double room in sociable houseshare

My housemates are looking for someone to take over my double room from February 1 until mid-August 2026.

The 5-bedroom house is on Divinity Road, just off Cowley Road - a 5 minute walk to Tesco and all the great food spots Cowley has to offer, and only a 10-minute cycle into the city centre.

There’s a big kitchen perfect for cooking together and hosting dinners, a separate living room where we hang out to watch series and chat, and a great back garden with a barbecue and fire pit (amazing for summer evenings, or coffee mornings in the sun). We’ve also got two bathrooms to share.

The available room is a bright double room with good storage and filled with natural light. Rent is around 745 + bills (approx 60/month).

You’ll be living with 4 Dphil students (Karan, final year computer science, Svenja, 4th year neuroscience, Paula, 2nd year economics, and Greg, 2nd year history), who’ve all become close friends. They’re a sociable bunch who enjoy hanging out, cooking communal meals, going to gigs together and having friends over.

They’re looking for someone who wants to become part of the house community rather than just renting a room. If you enjoy sharing meals, having a laugh and making the place feel like a proper home, you’ll fit right in.
