I am moving to London, and looking for a friendly person to replace me in my Cowley houseshare! I have lived here for 3 1/2 years and it’s been a lovely, warm and sunny home. I will be very sad to leave! The room is available Saturday 11th April onwards, but I can be flexible and move out a bit sooner if that suits.
The Room:
- Private space situated on the top floor overlooking the garden
- Fully furnished with double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and a large desk perfect for wfh. There is also a very large built-in wardrobe so plenty of storage!
- Sharing a modern fitted bathroom with just two other people.
- Boiler cupboard for hanging washing for quick drying!
Communal Space:
- Open plan kitchen and living area
- 2in1 Washing machine & dryer
- Dishwasher
- Garden with patio and outdoor furniture
- Secure bike shelter and lockable back gate entrance
- Room for two cars on the driveway on a first come first served basis
Location:
-The house is located in Reliance Way just off Cowley Road, so there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby.
-You can get to town very easily by walking (30 mins), bus (10 minutes) or cycling (10 minutes).
-Easy access to Headington
-Walking distance from Templar square where there are supermarkets, homeware shops and a PureGym.
Flatmates:
The current housemates are a mixture of easy going working professionals based in research, tech and the solar panel trade. They are a friendly and relaxed bunch who like to chat in the communal areas, and occasionally cook dinner and watch tv shows/films together. At least two love to bake too! The housemates are very sociable, but equally respect the need for privacy and space 🫶
The rent is £740 each month, and this includes all bills (gas, water, internet, electric) & council tax, tv license and a bi-weekly cleaner for the communal spaces! It’s definitely a bargain for this room and area ☺️
Please note the deposit is 5 weeks' rent (£853) , and there's a transfer of tenancy fee of £50 payable at the end of the tenancy.
