Cosy double room near Oxford city centre

A double room will be available in our welcoming five person house on Cowley Road from June, as one of our housemates is leaving Oxford. We are looking for another professional to join our home.

The room & costs:
The rent is £555 per month, which includes council tax (Band C). Bills are separate and typically come to around £100 to £125 per month, depending on the season. Deposit £750.

The house:
The house is shared between five tenants and has three bathrooms in total. One is an en suite, leaving two shared bathrooms with two showers between four people, which works well for the household. We also have a cleaner who comes in every two weeks to take care of the common areas. There are comfortable shared living spaces, and we also have a back garden that we are currently working on, with a variety of herbs and vegetables growing.

Location:
- Located on Cowley Road
- Around a 15 minute walk to Templars Square with Lidl, Sainsbury’s, PureGym, Homesense and more
- Plenty of pubs, cafés and restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute walk
- Bus stop 2 minutes from the house with frequent buses into the city centre, usually every 5 to 10 minutes

About us:
We are a group of professionals in our 20s and 30s from a mix of backgrounds including Scottish, British and Canadian. It is a friendly and easygoing house where everyone gets along well. We enjoy spending time together from time to time, whether that is cooking a shared dinner, going to the cinema or watching a series, while also respecting each other’s space and independence.
