The house is comfortable and well-equipped: fibre-optic broadband, gas central heating, washing machine, dryer, full cooker, and a bathroom with a good shower. Secure bike parking in the front garden, with permit parking available on street.

Costs:

- £760/month base rent — includes water, broadband, and council tax (fully handled by the landlady, so you never have to think about it)

- £20/month for a professional cleaning service (shared areas, every two weeks)

- £20–60/month for gas & electricity, depending on season and usage — expect closer to £20 in summer and £40 in winter

- That's roughly £800–840/month all-in, with nothing left to arrange yourself.

You'd be joining four friendly housemates — three women and one man, all DPhil students at Oxford. I'm moving out myself, so happy to arrange a flexible move-in date from 1 June onwards.

We're looking for a postgraduate or doctoral student who'd enjoy living somewhere clean, well-run, and sociable. Non-smokers only, please.
