Spacious double room in all-girl house in Cowley

🏡 Spacious room available in a friendly 3-bed house in Cowley (from 13 September)

We’re looking for a new housemate to take the largest room in our house, as one of us is sadly leaving Oxford for London in September.

The house is in a lovely quiet part of Cowley, near Templars Square. It might be a little further from the centre, but that means we get much bigger rooms and a lovely garden for the same rent you’d pay for a much smaller room closer in. It’s about a 10-minute cycle into the city centre.

We have a shared kitchen and cosy living room, a large garden, and honestly one of the best features of the house is the garage: It has a washer and dryer, loads of storage, and plenty of space for bikes and all the other things that somehow never fit in UK houses. The upstairs bathroom is shared with just one other person.

We’re two working professionals who have just finished (or are about to finish) our DPhils. We enjoy the occasional cup of tea, dinner together, or watching a series in the living room, but we also respect each other’s space. We’d love to find someone sociable and easy-going who’d enjoy the same balance.

As we pay council tax, we’d ideally be looking for a working professional, or a student who’s happy to split the cost (band E).
