Lovely decorated double room near Magdalen Road

We’re looking for a friendly young professional or mature student to join us in our lovely home in East Oxford.

The house is in a brilliant location, just by Magdalen Road, with its lovely independent coffee shops, pubs and restaurants practically on the doorstep. The house is being freshly and warmly decorated throughout, and we’re aiming for it to feel cosy, colourful and homely rather than like a typical rental.

The current photos are from the sales brochure. The house is being redecorated and furnished at the moment, and the available bedroom is not yet furnished, so I haven’t included bedroom photos yet. I’m very happy to send progress photos and updated room photos as things come together.

The available room is a comfortable double bedroom with a comfy double bed, and there’s also shared living space and a garden.

You’d be living with two female doctors in our mid-20s. We’re both sporty, sociable and friendly. Work keeps us pretty busy, but we’d love the house to have a sociable atmosphere, whether that’s cooking together occasionally, going to the pub, having friends over or just having a chat and a glass of wine when we’re all around. Equally, we both have our own friends and lives and completely appreciate everyone wanting their own space sometimes!

We’d ideally love to find another young professional or mature student around a similar age who is friendly, sociable and considerate, and who wants to live somewhere that feels like a home rather than simply renting a room.

Rent: £1,100/month, excluding bills.

Parking: permitted street parking available
