Hi potential housemates!

I have a large double room to rent in a three bedroom house in a quiet part of Didcot, 15 minutes walk from the station.
The room is furnished with a double bed, and it has a large built in wardrobe, desk and large bookshelf, I can provide anything else you might need within reason. The room is spacious and feels bright.

The house has 2 other lodgers living here, I am a live out landlord now as I work away, so you will find it quite peaceful, though I will come and go from time to time to check on the place and take care of Monty my cat. The other lodgers are both male, working professionals, and both friendly easy going people.

You will share the main bathroom in the house with only 1 other housemate (one room has en-suite).. The house also has a small downstairs bathroom.

The rent includes all bills, and wireless fibre broadband. Off road driveway parking available, your own space - so no car juggling.

You will have use of the kitchen and all appliances/cutlery etc with your own cupboards and plenty of your own fridge/freezer space, and use of the washing machine.

I am looking for a friendly, easy going housemate, A working professional, who is clean and tidy, reasonably quiet, and who is sociable but understands the need for personal space as well. Guests are welcome to stay in your room for an occasional evening, once I get to know you, but only one at a time.

I like the place to feel like a home, so it's important you enjoy living here, I don't really like rules, but I have been renting rooms long enough to know what works and what doesn't, by far the best situation is when your housemate feels more like a friend rather than a lodger. If this sounds like you, drop me a line!

A few things I need to mention:
1) No shoes are worn in the house, I'd like you to respect this too, if this is a problem then this isn't the place for you.
2) I have a very friendly, affectionate cat, Monty, he has run of the house and he is pretty awesome, so if you aren't really a cat person this probably isn't the house for you, also if you have your own pets, it's not really an option.
3) Please put something of you into your message, so I have a bit of an idea about you.
4) I have had a few bad experiences with lodgers recently, disappearing with no notice given, and in one case, leaving without even telling me, so I will insist that the deposit is paid in full before you move in.

Viewings are welcomed and encouraged, but due to my unusual shifts I may have to get one of the current housemates to show you around depending on your preferred times.
