Double room in a friendly house

Hello there!
We have one double bedroom available in Didcot.

I am a live in landlord who has rented with many different people for years so I know what it is like to try and find a room in a nice place. I prefer a house to be more like a home, we live in a co-operative way where each person pulls their own weight of the standard tasks and a weekly cleaning rota without being asked. If this sounds like you then contact us! I am still friends with people I rented with years ago and most people who have lived here intend to stay for 6 months but stay for 2+ years.

The house has a large living room, bathroom, kitchen and enclosed back garden. We have fast wifi and Netflix. In the kitchen you will have your own cupboards and fridge shelf and 2 + freezer shelves. Washing machine is also provided.

The room is a double, furnished with a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and desk. The shelving, lights and tall drawers next to desk in the images are not included.

Ellie, a 24 year old female professional and I have lived together for a while. We would prefer a female flatmate as we are both are female. We are looking for a professional, non smoking, considerate female that is tidy, clean and must like cats & dogs. We have a visiting cat who is in the house about a third of the time and 4 neighbourhood cats that visit us daily for cuddles so you must be comfortable with animals. There may also be a dog in the very near future.

We occasionally spend time watching Netflix together in the evening but equally are comfortable being alone. We have a corner shop seconds away (that we couldn’t live without) and Didcot station is a 20 min downhill walk. There is a bus to Harwell Campus 10 mins walk away and there is an off road parking space available.
