I live in the property with my boyfriend on the first and second floors. My partner mostly works from home, while I’m usually in the office Monday–Thursday. We have our own kitchen and bathroom upstairs, so the ground floor kitchen and bathroom facilities are private to the tenant. Some of our hobbies include; hiking, running, fitness, climbing, music and movies. At home we enjoy cooking, BBQs, and spending time in the garden, so we’d love someone happy to occasionally share that space.
🐈🐈⬛We are also hoping to get some outdoor cats in December, so ideally we would be looking for someone comfortable with this. The hypothetical cats would use a cat flap on the ground floor to access the garden.
Tenant Requirements:
- a respectful, tidy young professional who is easy-going and
- comfortable living in a friendly home environment but enjoys their own space too
- this would suit someone looking for more privacy than a traditional room rental
- open to pets for the right lodger
Before move-in, prospective tenants will be asked to provide:
- Proof of income/employment or evidence of affordability
- Previous landlord reference (where applicable)
- Photo ID
- A deposit equivalent to one month’s rent
- The room is available on an initial 6-month fixed-term lodger agreement, which will then move onto a rolling monthly basis however open to a shorter agreement for the right lodger.
