Finstock is 5 miles north of the town of Witney, 3 miles from Charlbury - an active community where there are Co-op and Londis Supermarkets, pubs, deli. Farmers Markets happen once every three months as well as many other varied local events. There is a station there (regular trains to Oxford, London). In Finstock there is a very friendly pub and a modern village hall where community events taking place. Lots of accessible countryside and Cornbury Park on the doorstep.
Would suit a working person looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The owners live in the main house attached to the annex - a couple in their 60s live an eco-friendly/community-based life so if you are concerned with the environment/living sustainably this is a good place for you.
