Lovely large room near hospitals and universities

My house is on Headley Way, close to the hospitals and convenient for the city and the Universities. Your room is a big room with a double bed and a comfortable chair and a desk. It is very light with velux windows and has a large en-suite bathroom. It is on the 2nd floor (3rd if you are North American) so you will need to be able to manage stairs..

I live here full time but will be away travelling for periods. My son lives in London with his girlfriend and may occasionally visit. Their room is useable if you have a short-term visitor. I have another lodger - at the moment a friendly post-doc researcher based at the JR.

There is no space for a car but space at the back (in a shed) for bikes - there is also a spare bike if you need one.

We have a nice large kitchen/dining room which is our main social space. WiFi is good and there is a washing machine and dishwasher and all the usual stuff.
There is also a nice large garden which everyone uses. This is a friendly home and I enjoy sharing meals and chats in the kitchen.

I expect the house to be quiet after 11, although there may be exceptions if you consult others.

I expect the house to be welcoming to everyone regardless of nationality or religion or ethnicity. I expect it to be welcoming and safe for people regardless of sexual preferences and gender.
