Hi! I’m looking for someone to take over my lease of this lovely bedroom in Headington from Aug or Sep this year. The move-in date is flexible. The rent is £620pcm + bills.
It’s a 3-bedroom period house with a big office space and a massive garden (plus kitchen, a bathroom, washer/dryer, and two big storage spaces). The other tenants are two very lovely PhD students who are friendly and fairly social but also respectful.
The location is great, with a 5 min walk to the local shops/amenities (Headington shops), very close to the major Oxford hospitals & research institutes, and just a 10-min cycle or 15-min bus ride to the city centre.
Another benefit is that the house is managed by the landlord directly (rather than through the agency), who is very responsive and lives just down the street.
Both students and professionals are welcome, but please note that if you are professional you would also be responsible for paying the council tax, which at the moment amounts to £186.
It is honestly such a lovely house with great vibes, I’m very sad to move out but unfortunately will be moving away from Oxford this year!
