About the property:
The house is available only for a period of 6 months (Jan - June 2025) as the house owner is planning to sell the house after the current tenancy in July.
The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood, next to the main road and the golf course. There are 3 bus stops at 3 minutes walking distance (depending on which direction you want to go).
Nearest supermarket is ALDI -10 minutes walking.
The house is a 4 bedroom semi detached house with a garden and bike shed at the back. There is parking on the driveway for only one car, but my roommates park it on the road in front when one car is already parked on the driveway.
The living area has big couch and TV and some storage space behind the couch for your suitcases.
There is one bathroom upstairs: with a bath and shower and
One toilet downstairs.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the things you would need from plates to cutleries to pans and the equipments.
About the room:
A double room on the ground floor. All the other bedrooms are on the first floor.
The room is facing the drive way with enough light coming through the big panoramic windows during the day. It comes with a double bed and mattress, one small cupboard, one big wooden cupboard and a chair.
I have a couple of other furniture which I bought during my time here and I am planning to sell to the tenant.
They are:
1 table, 2 IKEA wardrobes, 1 IKEA side table, 1 shoe rack + coat hanger.
About the other tenants:
Diego, Connor and Greg are very friendly working professionals. As a house we did occasional pub trips, barbecues and tennis/football games. They are all happy to do something together or give you all the space you need without bothering you.
It has been my home away from home for the past 2+ years and I am only moving out because I am moving out of the country due to my job. I personally think this room and house is an absolute bargain for the price, and would not be able to find a better deal in Oxford considering you are right in the heart of the city with all amenities nearby.
