Hey guys! Looking for a fun, easy-going roommate to join me from August / September this year.
About the flat:
- 2- bed flat near the Aldi in Horspath, Oxford.
- 2nd floor, no lift.
- £735 rent, your room is as pictured (double bed). It has a bedside table, a wardrobe, and a wall shelf. I have the bigger room so I pay £840 in rent.
- Lots of storage space around the flat – you can use it all you want, all my stuff is in my room so don’t need more than that 😊
- Bills are between £180 - £200 per month (including council tax).
- Private car park (2 car spots per flat – I have a car so you’d have the other spot).
- Bike shed.
- 15 minute cycle to John Radcliffe Hospital, 8 minute cycle to Churchill Hospital.
- 20 minute cycle to town.
- 2 minute walk to Aldi.
- Washing machine but no dryer.
- 2 bathrooms (we’d share one shower and you’d have your own toilet).
- Quiet, family friendly area with young professionals.
- Easy access to Eastern Bypass Road for commuters.
About me:
I’m Astrid, 26, Spanish and Belgian, and a doctor working at the John Radcliffe Hospital 😊 I am clean and tidy but will not freak out if there is a little mess around (I have been house sharing for the last 9 years so I have seen a lot!). I also do not mind at all if you have your friends or partner over – and you don’t mind when I do too!
Please feel free to use the living room table to study / have meetings, I am very respectful and will be quiet in the flat.
We’ll get along if you are sociable and like having fun together after work, going to the pub, playing tennis / padel, organising dinners at home, etc. I love cooking, so expect lots of Spanish food and homemade desserts at home.
The only thing I ask for from my future roomie is a little consideration when I’m on nights or on call – so no scheduling daytime raves then please 😊
I would be happy living with young professionals or mature students if they are willing to pay for council tax. Medics preferred, but if you’re not medically minded that’s also fine – I will just not talk about guts during dinnertime.
