Description
I'm looking for someone to take over my contract until 05/08/2026 because im moving in with my partner. Everyone in the house is welcoming, as well as clean and considerate. The room itself has a double bed and lots of storage. Perfect for someone working at the JR hospital as it is within walking distance.
*Video tour available upon request*
Rent is £575 with about (depending on what is used that month) £100 in bills. This is paid to the head tenant on the 1st of every month
'As a group we enjoy the odd family-style shared takeaway, pub trip, game or movie night. We are a friendly, clean and considerate group of young professionals, who have all relocated to Oxford within the past year for work.'.
Students will need to provide proof they can pay rent/provide a UK/EU based guarantor.
Council tax band: C
See below for more in depth details from College and County;
Must be able to provide adequate referencing and affordability e. g. someone in full-time paid employment on a permanent contract
College and County require the new person to fill in an application form with all relevant details (contact details, employer/guarantor/funding details, landlord details etc) and return with photo ID. Due to new regulations, they now need to see the physical copy of each tenant’s passport, with the tenant present, at some point prior to the change date. The incoming tenant must, without fail, come into the office before the change date with their passport.
The incoming tenant will agree to accept the inventory as per the start of the original tenancy and it is their responsibility to compare the inventory to the current condition of the house. If they feel there are already damages at the property which may be charged from the deposit at the end of the tenancy, they need to discuss directly with the current tenants and may want to pay a smaller portion of deposit over.
The payment of rent for the months around the change date will depend on the lead time for the application to be processed and the proposed date of change. Generally, the incoming tenant will need to pay their first month’s rent by card over the phone and then by direct debit thereafter. Again this will all be outlined in your Change of Tenant Agreement.
Please, contact me for any more information.
