Quiet room with own bathroom in house near Iffley

We have a quiet, comfortable ground floor room looking out onto our back garden. The room has a new double bed, plenty of storage, small desk, office chair, TV and an adjacent bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC. You would have access to the rear sitting/dining room, kitchen and utility area, and, of course, the back garden.

We are looking for a tidy, independent, professional person.

We are a married couple in our early 60s and have lived in the house for over 30 years. We have two grown-up children and two grandchildren. My wife is a freelance home economist and outside caterer and I work in software development. We’re both easy going and will do our utmost to welcome you and make you feel at home. We have two very friendly pet cats.

The house itself is a large 1930s semi-detached house in the Iffley Borders area. Oxford city centre is a short bus (number 3) ride away. You can get there by bicycle in 10 minutes. Iffley village and the river are less than 5 minutes’ walk away. There’s a decent Coop and other shops and takeaways just round the corner. There is currently on-street parking available.
