Big double room in Iffley

Hi there!

My housemate is sadly moving away from Oxford so I'm looking for a new housemate!

The flat: We'll share a kitchen/living room, a utility room which also serves as a laundry room, a bathroom and bonus, a guest room! There is a gated space for bikes at the entry of the flat, if you have one. There is free on-street parking just outside.

Great location on Iffley Road, not far from the river, shops, lovely cafes, pubs, and the best bakery in town! Literally next to the bus stop, and a 10-minute cycle/30-minute walk into town!

The room: It's a lovely, bright, big double bedroom in a first-floor flat. The room is partly furnished with a built-in wardrobe, and currently has a double bed.

About me: I'm a 37 year old professional, and I've been living in the UK for the past 8 years. I work from home around 1-2 days a week. I'm a big fan of music and I like to go to gigs, cinema, cook, bake (so I'd be more than happy to share meals), go to exhibitions, meet friends at the pub etc. I’m quite a sociable person but also need time alone to recharge.

It's really important for me that we both feel comfortable and at home here so it's not just a house share! It's would be nice to find a housemate who is happy to share house chores, and looking to have a good mix between hanging out together, having our own space and having friends and family over.

Nb - For council tax reasons I'm looking for a professional rather than a student. Bills amount to approx. £250 per month (water, energy, broadband, council tax and tv license).
Tenancy starts on the 1st of September 2025, and moving date can be flexible (the room will be free from mid-August).
