The accommodation is arranged across the entire first floor of a smart Jericho house and comprises a double room with a private bathroom (WC, sink, shower), a spacious private living room and a shared kitchen (the only part of the accommodation that is shared with one other tenant on the first floor). The front entrance at street level is used solely by the first and second floor tenants. The accommodation boasts access to a sunny and well-maintained garden.

The rent excludes council tax, of £96 per month. The rent excludes household bills which are minimal (most recently circa £29 per month extra).

New tenants would have to sign a 9-month contract (minimum), with the option of signing a longer contract or else renewing the initial contract later on.

The house has been a happy home for almost two years but I am leaving to live with friends. The landlord is reliable and responsive and the neighbours in the downstairs flat are very friendly. The best things about the house are: its spaciousness, its private living room, the amount of natural light, and, of course, its location - 10 min walk to central Oxford, 15 min walk to Oxford Station, 5 min walk to Port Meadow and 5 mins from a selection of mini supermarkets and coffee shops/bars/restaurants.
