Hi all,
I am moving out of our flatshare and I am looking for someone to take over my room.
The flat: Located in OX26EA, first floor flat with a big open kitchen/living room (with a dishwasher and two fridges!) and access to a small backyard with covered bike storage. The room is about 12sqm and can come furnished or unfurnished (depending on your preference!). We are renting with Lucy Properties and they are super responsive which has been great.
The roomates: Two DPhil students in their fourth year and one working engineer all between 25 and 31 years old. They are a lovely bunch and I am sad to be leaving them. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, think chats over cooking, sharing a bottle of wine on the couch, going to the pub occasionally. At the same time, everyone is also busy with their own stuff and respectful of everyone's private space. We also have a working cleaning schedule 😉
The rent: Currently £690 + council tax contribution (£58 for students, £116 for non-students) + bills. The bill situation is a bit special, the flat comes with a parking spot that we rent out. Currently, the income is covering all bills, in the winter we have to pay a bit on top but that keeps the bills pretty low on average. Happy to explain this further via message 🙂
