Hello everyone!
I am leaving Oxford and thus my housemates are looking for one professional or post-doc / PhD candidate, to join our house share starting ideally 25 of September for the long-term.
About the house:
Our house is located in Juxon Street in Jericho. Juxon Street is a quiet road, very well connected to Sainsbury, the Coop and several local restaurants, cafes, and pubs. The house is spacious, has an open kitchen and living room area, a beautiful garden, one bathroom and one toilet.
Our home has a super friendly environment, we love cooking and are responsible towards communal spaces, making sure they are tidy and clean.
About us:
Maria: I am a Comparative Literature post doc who loves reading, cooking and taking care of the home. I am from Italy and I have been living in this house for 7 years, during which I have met wonderful people whose experiences and stories made me travel the world.
Filipe: I am a 37 year old Nurse that works at the JR Hospital. On my free time I go climbing and do also other outdoor activities (hiking, cycling, camping). I love cooking and bake at times also.
Kate: I'm a professional having been in Oxford a few months. Currently I am working for the county council, enjoying to live in chatty/social vibes but also everyone doing their thing.
We tend to share some part of our dinners or groceries.
Details about the let:
The let will be with Lucy Properties, one of the best landlords and letting agencies in Oxford. The rent for the double room is at £728.63 PCM (excluding bills and council tax). Additionally, Council tax is 69 pounds PCM and bills are around 60-80 PCM.
Let us know the date when you would like to move in and start the contract, and we can make it work! (Contract start would be 23 or 25 Sept ideally.)
We are looking for someone happy to take care of communal cleaning and enjoy building a household community.
In the last year, we have been cooking together, hosting dinners and attending meditation classes.
Please DM if you are interested, including a description of yourself. Curious to hear about your signature dish / favorite food, too! We will arrange a visit or a video call in the coming days (probably already this Sunday or Tuesday). We may not be able to respond to all inquiries.
