Quiet and bright room in central Jericho

We are looking for another DPhil student to join our house in Jericho!

** The Room **
You would be in a 3rd floor room, overlooking the garden with a double bed, desk, and a good amount of storage space (probably the quietest space in the house, so good for light sleepers).

**Location**

Completely unbiasedly, the best location in Oxford. In Jericho, only a few minutes away from restaurants, pubs and countless cafes but also super close to Port Meadow and with it access to green spaces and running routes. A fifteen minute walk or 5 minute cycle to the science site and similar to the town centre.

**The House**
The kitchen is large, modern and gets lots of natural light. There is a (new) oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is a spacious living room on the ground floor which is a lovely place to relax or host friends. There are 3 bathrooms, each with a toilet and 2 with showers, shared between 5 people: it is rare you’ll be locked out in the mornings.

We enjoy a spacious back garden, which is maintained by the property managers and is a lovely place to spend a summer afternoon, have a bbq, or get on with some gardening. There is also plenty of space to store your bike.

**Community**
We are a house of DPhil students who value living in a calm, quiet and trusting house. We enjoy chatting over tea/coffee, try and have dinners together and are relaxed about inviting friends over. That being said, on busy days we also are happy to go our own ways and respect each others space. It would be great if you are interested in getting involved with the house, we’d love to hear what you enjoy getting up to in your free time!

On the admin side of things we have a cleaning rota to organise chores and try and spread responsibility for setting up and paying bills across the tenants.
