Double room in lovely flatshare in Jericho!

We have a beautiful south-facing room that will be available from beginning of April. The room is bright, generously sized, and offers plenty of storage.

The flat is ideally located in the heart of Jericho, just around the corner from Walton Road and only a few metres from the area’s many pubs, restaurants, and much-loved coffee shops. Port Meadow and the canal are also very close by, making this an excellent spot for jogging, walks, and outdoor enthusiasts.

The room is approximately 15 m², fully furnished, and includes a large built-in wardrobe with ample storage space. The property manager is very flexible and happy to swap furniture if desired - or remove it altogether. The new tenant will share a large bathroom with a bathtub/shower with one other flatmate.

There is a spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen, a large dining table ideal for hosting dinners, and a comfortable TV and chill-out area. In addition, there is a separate laundry room with a washing machine, as well as a secure garage (closed at night) with plenty of space for bikes.

You will be sharing the flat with three postdocs at Oxford. They’re often busy with work, hobbies, and travel, but are very friendly, helpful, sociable, and always lovely to chat with when you run into them.

The room would suit someone who is a young professional or a mature PhD student. Please note if you are a student, you would still have to contribute to the council tax bill. We are looking for someone of a similar age to us who keeps the common areas tidy, is quiet and respectful, but also enjoys socialising with their flatmates. We would prefer a female housemate.

Rent is £828 per month, plus council tax and bills (approximately £160 per month, depending on heating and usage). A nice extra perk is that the property managers include four free yoga sessions per month at the beautiful Yoga Prana studio on Walton Road.

There is also the opportunity to additionally rent a spot in the garage for £130 a month.
