PLEASE NOTE: The available room is initially a sublet for the first 2 months, available immediately. From November (exact date to be confirmed), you will need to move to a different room in the flat, which will become your permanent rental.

Both rooms advertised are en-suite with a double bed, furnished room with a big wardrobe and lots of storage in the rest of the flat.

The flat is very close to shops, cafes, pubs and bus routes and a 10-12 min walk to the city centre and 10 -12 min from the railway station, via the canal. There is secure bike parking space available.

Rent for the 2 month sublet period will be at £850 per month (all bills included). The rent for the permanent room is £870 per month. Bills (including council tax) are approximately £150 per month extra. The flat is let by Lucy Properties, who are reliable property managers.

About the housemates:

The flat currently houses two professionals and one PhD student, who share a 9am-6pm schedule. Everyone is friendly and social. We enjoy cooking, watching TV together, the occasional board games, and learning guitar together! But equally we have time to ourselves and respect each other's privacy.

About you:

The room would suit someone who is a professional or a mature PhD student. Please note if you are a student, you would still have to contribute to the council tax bill.

We are looking for someone of a similar age to us who keeps the common areas tidy, is quiet and respectful, but also enjoys socialising with their flatmates. It is important that we find someone who is looking for a homely dynamic to their flat share.
