Fom July! Sublet in shared flat in central Jericho

Hello!

We are looking for a new flatmate to join our lovely home in central Jericho — just across from the Victoria pub! We have a room free from now on, since one of our flatmates unfortunately (for us) is moving in with his girlfriend!

The flat has a fantastic location and comes with a spacious shared living room and kitchen (complete with a TV), which we occasionally use for flat movie nights — though not as often as we’d like! There are two fridges between four people so plenty of space. We also have a washer/dryer in the kitchen and a heated towel rack in the bathroom.

A few important things to know:

• We have a weekly chore rota (bathroom, kitchen, etc.), and we expect everyone to contribute and stick to it, so the burden is shared equally. We also share communal items (e. g. cleaning products, oil) and expect everyone to contribute equally to the emotional labour of this.
• One of us has coeliac disease, so no (gluten-containing) flour can be used in the kitchen. Gluten is fine, just not loose flour. We also take precautions to avoid cross-contamination e. g. separate toasties, separate utensils for gluten and gluten-free food. We ask that you clean up after yourself diligently in the kitchen (which has the added bonus of making for a nice living environment). Sadly baking enthusiasts would be a bad fit!

Money:

• Rent is £787.50 per calendar month (excluding bills). For a shorter-term sublet, this would be adjusted accordingly.
• Bills are around £75/month. Again, this would be adjusted accordingly for short-term tenants.

Many of us are moving out soon, so if you'll be moving in you might have the chance to shape the new flatshare.
