House share in Jericho

Hello everyone!

I am searching for someone to share a beautiful house in Jericho from October to July, with the possibility of an extension.

I would like to get to know you in person between Tuesday, 26 August, and Friday, 5 September: Beforehand, please be in touch with a small message about yourself, what you do, and what you are searching for.

*The house:*
The house is centrally located in the heart of Jericho and very close to Walton Street where you can find bars, cafés, restaurants, grocery stores (Co-Op and Sainsbury's), and even a cinema. The house has two floors:

Downstairs:
- Living room (shared)
- kitchen (shared)
- Guest toilet (shared)
- a study (can be shared)
- backyard, incl. parking space, garden, and patio

Upstairs:
- 1 double room with en-suite bathroom (where I will be staying)
- 1 medium sized room, fully furnished – this is the one on offer
- 1 bathroom – for your use only
- 1 small storage cabinet

*About me*
I am 33 years old, a postdoc here in Oxford, and have been living in this house for about a year. I am quiet and tidy but also love a good chat or discussion, love cooking, and outside of work go to concerts, lectures, events at the Union or in colleges, or have a boulder or pub session with friends.

*Who I am searching for*
I am searching for a young professional (preferred, please) in the end of their 20s or in their 30s who is searching for a clean and organised home to share with. I'd love for us to actually live together, not just side by side, like having a chat after work, cooking dinner, or going to an event together when it works out. I enjoy having friends over occasionally, but it is important to me that this is not a party house – it is more of a cozy and calm space that we share together.

*Costs*
- Council Tax: 294 GBP per month (total)
- Rent: 2000 GBP per month (total)
- Water bill: 30 GBP per month per person
- Internet: 25 GBP (total)
- Cleaner: 60 GBP per cleaning session, usually twice a month (total)
- Electricity & gas: about 150 GBP per month in winter, about 80 GBP in summer (total)
- Rooms are furnished: The furniture belongs to the other current tenant and we will have to negotiate a renting or buying agreement with him.
- The security deposit is yet to be determined.
