Hi,
I am looking for someone to take over my contract for my 3B2B flat in the heart of Jericho. The apartment is just off Walton Street and along the river. It is a 10-minute walk from the train station and a 15-minute walk to Gloucester Green. The landlord is Lucy Properties, which is by far the best landlord I have rented with. They are incredibly responsive and organise one weekly yoga class for tenants at Prana Yoga Studio in Jericho.
The room I am looking for someone to take over is an ensuite room with a king-sized bed and access to the balcony. The room has a large wardrobe and dresser and comes with two desks.
In terms of rent, your share of the rent is £1048. Generally, your share of the bills comes up to £30 per month (this is water, electricity, gas, and internet (250 Mbps)). The other two tenants are students. If you are eligible for a council tax exemption, then there will be no council tax to pay. If not, then your share of the council tax will be ~£130. We also have a cleaner that comes once every three weeks. You can decide with the other tenants if you would like them to continue, the cost on you will be ~£26 per clean.
In terms of start date, I have some flexibility. With the landlord, the contract will start on either January 1st or February 1st. You can decide. We can discuss together when exactly you would like to move in, but it will have to be on or before February 1st. The contract will end on September 27th, 2026. You usually have the option to extend if you like the property.
