As my flatmate and I will (sadly!) be moving out of our flatshare soon, two beautiful south-facing rooms will become available. Both rooms are bright, generously sized, and offer plenty of storage.

The flat is ideally located in the heart of Jericho, just around the corner from Walton Road and only a few metres from the area’s many pubs, restaurants, and much-loved coffee shops. Port Meadow and the canal are also very close by, making this an excellent spot for jogging, walks, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Each room is approximately 15 m², fully furnished, and includes a large built-in wardrobe with ample storage space. The property manager is very flexible and happy to swap furniture if desired—or remove it altogether. The two new tenants will share a large bathroom with a bathtub/shower.

There is a spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen, a large dining table ideal for hosting dinners, and a comfortable TV and chill-out area. In addition, there is a separate laundry room with a washing machine, as well as a secure garage (closed at night) with plenty of space for bikes.

You will be sharing the flat with Niall and Gina, both postdocs who have lived here for a long time. They’re often busy with work, hobbies, and travel, but are very friendly, helpful, sociable, and always lovely to chat with when you run into them.

Rent is £828 per month, plus council tax and bills (approximately £100 per month in summer and £120 in winter, depending on heating and usage). A nice extra perk is that the property managers include four free yoga sessions per month at the beautiful Yoga Prana studio on Walton Road.
