A room available starting from June in a shared house in Jericho with a total of three bedrooms. The house is located in a quiet area with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores. It is 10-15 mins walk from the city centre with most of the departments and colleges, 10-15 mins walk from the train station, 3 mins walk from Jericho hospital and Oxford University press, 5-10 mins walk from Port Meadow. This is one of the best locations in Oxford - it is vibrant and peaceful at the same time, with lots of young professionals living in the area.

The house is located in a gated area, it is newly built and is warm in winter and very comfortable in summer. It has a spacious kitchen with dishwasher and plenty of natural sunlight. There is also a shared living room upstairs adjacent to the kitchen that has a TV area with 2 sofas, a bigger table and bookcase.
This room is located downstairs, and has a double bed. The future tenant will occupy the room with an en-suite shower bath.

The available room is £997 per month, plus bills roughly around £160 per month per person - this includes council tax, energy, water, wifi, and professional cleaning services for shared spaces delivered every 2 weeks.
Given the changes in tenancy laws, from may 1st the tenancy will become rolling with a two-month notice period. This means the new tenant will be able to enter the tenancy contract from July 29, and the period before this will be a sublease.

The remaining residents (W 29, M27) are a postdoc at the university and a professional working in the engineering sector. We seek a professional or graduate student, aged 25+, who is responsible, tidy (both are strong requirements), open about communicating any issues early, and proactively maintains the household.
