You will be living with a greyhound and a gay male couple (live-in landlord). The house is located in central Kidlington in a quiet residential road with the High Street a 10 minute walk for take-aways, shops, cafes and pubs, whilst Sainsbury's is a 5 minute drive the other way. The nearest bus stop is just a 5 minute walk and there’s also a local sports centre with a gym and pool 10 minutes walk away. You will ideally be a professional person, a post-graduate student, or a trainee pilot.
The room is spacious and comfortable, front-facing with a double bed (pocket sprung mattress), quadruple wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. If you need them, a desk & chair will be arranged (the ones in the photo have left the building).
The newly refurbished bathroom is for your use only (but very rarely shared if we have guests staying), and is fitted with a large bath with shower over, basin, WC, and tall heated towel rail. There's also an illuminated mirror and plenty of space for storing your toiletries.
The shared living space downstairs includes a very large kitchen/dining room with multiple ovens, multiple fridges & a dishwasher, utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer & second freezer, downstairs cloakroom, TV room with corner sofa & 55" screen, and use of the patio, garden & barbecue. There is a second TV/sitting room that we tend to use, and we both work from home so two of the bedrooms are used as offices. On-street parking is limited. The living spaces shown in the photos are shared and freely available to you.
The house also benefits from 250Mbps fibre-optic broadband with multiple access points, double glazing throughout, softened water, and filtered drinking water on tap in the kitchen. Kitchen utensils, cookware, cutlery & crockery are all provided but of course feel free to bring your own.
