Hiya! I’m looking for someone, either a professional or student, to take over my tenancy in a queer house, starting 1st February and lasting until 4th September 2025.

The house: a large 5-bedroom semi-detached on Marston Road. There’s a spacious living room and a large kitchen (with two fridges) that can accommodate several people cooking at once, two bathrooms, a study, and an extensive garden with a shed.

Location: located a five minute cycle from Cowley Rd., and the same into town via the Marston Cycle Path. The X3 bus, which goes right into the centre, stops just outside. Also a 10 minute cycle/20 minute walk to the John Radcliffe Hospital.

The room: a single room with a sink, downstairs. West facing and looks over the garden, gets lovely afternoon light.

Accessibility info: the bedroom is on the ground floor, as are both bathrooms; the front door has a small lip on the threshold but no steps, the back door (accessible by the garden gate) has two steps. There are some narrow areas in the house (mostly due to furniture placement) that could be adjusted.

RENTAL INFORMATION

Rent and costs: ~£620 a month, rent being £510 and bills roughly £110.
Deposit: £643. The landlord asks for a registration fee of £150 during the sign-on to be immediately returned on confirmation of the tenancy.
Other info: If tenant is a student (or earning less than 20k), a UK based Guarantor is required.
