After living here for three years, I am leaving this lovely house to move in with my partner and I am looking for a replacement in my shared-tenancy house. The contract expires in October 2025, but has been renewed yearly basis for at least the last 5 years.
My bedroom is on the ground floor of a semi-detached house shared with three people, two guys and one girl, working in architecture, geology, and a Physics post-doc at the University. We all have our own lives, but the atmosphere is friendly and respectful and we sometimes get together for a shared meal. We’re looking for someone who is tidy, responsible and good at communicating :)
The room faces a quiet and green road and comes with a queen-size bed, a wardrobe, a big chest of drawers, two small sets of drawers, a desk and a chair, as well as plenty of shelves for books. The house includes a big kitchen (equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, two ovens, a large fridge and a large freezer), a living room, one big bathroom plus a small one with toilet and washbasin only, and a small spare room with a single bed which can be used to host occasional visitors. The property also includes a private rear garden and a shed for storing bikes. There is one parking space available on the drive, and currently none of the other housemates own a car, so this is available as well.
The rent includes all bills (gas, electricity, water, Wi-Fi), other than council tax, which is currently £49.25 each per month (Council tax band D). The house is in Marston, a 10-15 minute cycle to the city centre (along quiet cycle paths) and 8 minutes from the Radcliffe Hospital, while stops for the X3 and 14 buses are only 2 minutes away on foot.
